Boveney Bankside - Saturday 29th - Monday 31st August 2020

Hello All

Great news!

It has been a long time coming but now some of the lock moorings have been reopened, we have managed to secure a booking at Boveney Lock over the August Bank Holiday weekend, from Saturday 29th to Monday 31st August 2020.

Considering the current restrictions, we can accommodate a maximum of 15 boats.  Everybody will need to be responsible for their own social distancing and we will provide hand sanitisers and wipes.  It will be necessary for boats to be rafted out and anyone considering putting their name down will need to be agreeable for others to cross their boats.   We will try to accommodate any requests for a bankside mooring but this is not guaranteed.

Please note, there are no toilet or shower facilities open at the lock and these will remain closed until further notice.

Please bring your own food and drinks and you are welcome to bring your barbecue and cook bankside or if you prefer, eat on board.

We are hoping to include some games and duck racing too!

If you would like to take part, please respond to Kate as soon as possible.  We will hold a reserve list in case of cancellations.

I am so looking forward to our first bankside of the season!

Warmest wishes

Karen Weight
