Club Cruising and Cruises

We all enjoy attending club cruises and banksides well now is your chance to help organise the clubs cruising program.

The Rear Commodore is forming a cruising Committee to help the Flag Officers arrange the next year’s cruising program and to assist at cruises and banksides.

Ideally the sub-committee will consist of the Rear Commodore and 4 other members, two tidal and two non-tidal. They will discuss and put forward ideas for cruises and improvements to all aspects of club cruising and will be available on club cruises, helping with mooring, collecting mooring fees etc. All ideas agreed by the cruising committee will be put forward to the main committee for approval.

This will not be particularly onerous on you and will probably only meet 4 or 5 times a year and probably during normal club opening hours.

Next year’s program will be very exciting as we have the 80th Dunkirk remembrance cruise to be arranged.

So if you would like a bigger say in where and what the club cruises consist of I would be pleased to hear from you.

Please give me a call or drop me an e-mail and let me know your interest.
