A Message from our new Commodore

Dear Friends

I just want to say I feel honoured to be voted in as the new Club Commodore for 2016 and to say a big thank you for all your support.

Lorraine and I are very much looking forward to next year. It is the Club's 40th Year so we are planning what I hope will be an extra special year of events & cruises. The Programme is attached (you'll receive a proper printed copy with your membership renewal).

I'd like to highlight one event in particular. On Sat. 23 July we'll be celebrating the Club's 40th. Anniversary with an Anniversary Party at Harleyford Golf Club which is a really nice venue. We want to make a full weekend of the celebrations - we have reserved moorings at Hurley and Harleyford for 30+ boats but, for those who may only be able to come for the Saturday evening dinner and music, we can arrange a coach from Windsor/Bray marinas to take you to (& return from) Harleyford. We'll be sending out more details of this in a few weeks. So please reserve that weekend in your diary as the venue can accommodate 150 people for the Saturday night and it will be great to have as many members there as possible to celebrate the Club's 40 year history.

Many thanks again for your support - I hope I can live up to the high standards set by our past Commodores!

Lorraine & I wish you all a very Happy Christmas and a wonderful 2016!

Kind regards

Terry
