Dear Members and guests who will be attending the Dinner Dance
As it is some time since you handed in your booking forms and payment for the Dinner Dance, we thought we would remind you of some important information in advance of the event.
Saturday 21 November at the Crowne Plaza, Fieldhouse Lane, Marlow SL7 1GJ
Check in time if you have booked accommodation is from 3 pm although some rooms may be ready sooner.
There will be a Wine table in the foyer when you check in from 3 pm to 4 pm to enable you to choose and purchase your bottles of wine for your table. We encourage you to do this as early as possible to allow you plenty of time to socialise with friends before being called to Dinner.
Terrace Bar will be open from 6 pm and your Commodore and his Lady will be delighted to welcome you and your guests in the Terrace Bar from 6pm .
The Wine table will again be situated near the bar from 6 pm to 7 pm for you to choose and purchase your wine.
The photographer Paul who took some excellent photographs at the sailpast will be there to take photographs which you may purchase later in the evening if you wish. Please see him during the evening if you would like special individual or group shots. There is no obligation to buy.
At 7.10 pm the Toastmaster will call everyone to Dinner and we plan to sit down at 7.30 pm when the formal proceedings and fun will commence.
As we have 135 attending the Dinner Dance, we and the Hotel will appreciate your help and co-operation in being prompt and therefore ensuring that the meal is served in a timely manner.
If you are not staying at the hotel and need to book a cab, the evening will finish at 01.00 hrs.
