Inter Club Quiz - Saturday 28th February

Around 80 members and guests attended the Inter Club quiz at The Windsor Yacht Club on Saturday 28 February . The participating clubs were TWYC, Bray Cruiser Club, Upper Thames Motor Yacht Club, Oxford Ditch Cruising Club and International Yachting Fellowship of Rotarians (IYFR) and this year the questions were set by the Rotarians who were the winners last year

The Commodore began by welcoming members of TWYC and all the guests from other clubs .. There were ten rounds of questions and all the clubs competitively entered into the spirit of the challenge.

Jayne and Dawn together with their helpers served home made Lasagne, garlic bread (Doll’s speciality), and veggie option with mixed salad. The food as always was truly amazing and there were compliments galore from members and guests from other clubs.

After we had eaten, we returned to the quiz for the final rounds. It was a very close score and UTMYC were announced the overall winners. The Commodore had pleasure in presenting the trophy to the Commodore of UTMYC Lawrie Anness who in turn thanked TWYC on behalf of the other clubs for their fantastic hospitality and delicious buffet.

Yet another very successful and memorable event.
