25th ANNIVERSARY TVR RALLY AT HENLEY
Saturday 3rd to Monday
5th May
The annual
TVR rally again held at Henley was one of the best for some years and a
credit to the hard work put in by the TVR committee and helpers. New
features this year were a 25 piece Brass Band, a bring and buy stall run
by our own Janet Donovan and Gill Sliney, a stall giving away free Pimms
and another giving away free pieces of 25th Anniversary cake.
Entertainment was provided on both nights and the food provided by the
caterers was particularly good.

ATYC DINNER DANCE
Saturday 15th March
at
Phyllis Court
Henley
The annual
ATYC dinner dance was held at the recently refurbished Phyllis Court,
making a lovely venue for this event. A very nice 3 course meal with
coffee was followed by dancing and the presentation of awards for the boat
handling competition. Keith Clarke and family being TWYC's sole
representative did superbly to come away with 3 trophies.

VALENTINES NIGHT
Saturday 16th February
The club was
beautifully decorated for the Valentines night and everyone looked smart,
the gents in their black ties and ladies in their gowns. Gill Sliney
produced a quiz for the evening and the prize of a bottle of champagne was
won by the Commodores table. Our thanks to Janet Donovan and Kathy
Mansfield who slaved away in the kitchen to produce a lovely hot meal for
everyone.
